I am not one for wearing flag clothing; I have read Betsy Ross flag Dr Pepper shirt that it is the wrong way to show respect. Regardless of the whole Kaepernick hoopla, It was inappropriate for NIKE to use an image of the flag on their shoes anyway 4 USC 1 (8-d) states that “the flag should never be used as wearing apparel”.
