I’m retiring in August and moving to Sedona to sip my We the north is our battle cry and this is our shield Toronto Raptors shirt and my PM wine with the red rocks as my view. Time to heal. I retired and still have dreams of work and I’m telling myself in my dream ‘they can’t do that, I’m retired’, but it goes on. Nursing IS hard work – on every level. Accolades, perhaps, once a year on Nurse’s Day but otherwise, truly taken for granted and misunderstood. I have over 50 years of experience now and am still working. I love it though! Not always sure why, but I do.
