If he was a team player he would bat 3rd or I’m a grandma and a St. Louis Cardinals fan which means I’m pretty much perfect shirt. Homers & hits would be much better for team, but he doesnt care about team. He is about himself only. Frontrunner is a bit strong of a word for this, but there are a lot of people scoffing a bit too harshly at that too. He’s the league leader in OPS and WAR, two stats that keep far more of player’s contributions in mind than batting average or RBI.
