Robert Rice this is exactly what my bipolar feels like Patron Saint of Shade shirt hit me so hard when she said I offer the truth of this illness and watch the people I love to pull themselves away from me. I am so proud of this truly amazing young woman/granddaughter of mine. And I choke up with loving her so much. I was sitting in the audience. This poem contributed a large part to me finally seeking help. And so it’s part of the reason I’m still here. And there are no words for that gratitude.
