Nathan Chen’s (Olympic figure skater) ballet teacher is incredibly scary. He was featured in a short segment about Teacher Shark Doo Doo Doo shirt. Last week’s knee surgery did not go as planned. Instead of a minor setback for a few weeks, I am now in a straight leg brace and non-weight bearing for 4-6 weeks before I can even start the rehab process. What that means is I get a lot of quality time with my couch and my crutches!!! The crutches slow me down a little but it sure as heck doesn’t stop me from living my life, except that one time. There I was sitting on my couch/throne working away on my computer, loving life, and enjoying the peace and quiet. My daughter had filled my coffee, left me some delicious homemade cookies before running off to enjoy her day.
